Dairy farming is a key activity of AIH "Zalesie".

The cattle breeding activity dates back to 2002. Zalesye APH is the key actor in dairy cattle breeding in Kaliningrad region, which accounts for 54.5% of the total volume of milk production in agricultural organizations. The total number of cattle is 18,000 heads of Holstein-Friesian breed, of which 8,000 are young cattle.
